So right now in Alaska there is a huge project going on called Liberty. They are planning on drilling some of the worlds largest Horizontal wells. To do so they need to have some major equipment. So when I was out on a job I was able to see the Rig for Liberty. It is crazy huge. It has 8 generator motors. A fully enclosed Derrick and from what I understand they can drill 160 feet on one stand of pipe. All I know is that it is awesome and I figured I would pass the pictures to you!
